Falling into Fall

Today was our last day off together for the week and we really tried to make the most of it! We ran some errands, did some final puppy prep, thrifted, and spent some time with the lovely Gina and Olivia!
First and foremost, our thrifted finds-
He's currently loving classic fall jackets and Clark's boots. She's loving peppered color sweaters.
We have been thrifting SO much lately, and it feels so nice to spend $20 and leave with more than one item!

We snuck away from our housework this evening to meet up with Gina and Liv at La Encantada (a lovely outdoor shopping mall). The weather was unreal and Livi is a total crack up. She's getting so old...Kyle and I both agree that she pretty much melts our hearts.

What we wore:
Dress- Target, Vest - Old Navy, Sandals- Aldo, Clutch- Etsy last season

Tee- Thrifted, Pants- H&M, Clarks- Thrifted

We already watched this week's New Girl (so funny!) and now we are finishing laundry and catching up on Ink Master. We love our "Sunday" nights!

The Sky

Tucson has been unseasonably warm, but in true Arizona style has looked insanely beautiful.

Big Changes

Some exciting things happened in the last few months......
We finally said "I do" about 4 months ago. What a whirlwind these four months have been! We are truly loving every minute of married life. Thanks to my new in-laws we also went on an amazing Hawaiian honeymoon. I have so many pictures to share but until then, a sneak peak:

Summer has been so much fun. We've been enjoying our newlywed bliss and also prepping for certain FURRY addition to our family! Big shout out to my sister-in-law Gina and her husband for the gift of our first fur-child. In just two weeks we will welcome an 8 week bundle of puppy joy to our home. Our baby will be called Luna and we are already spoiling her to death.
Luna is ready for fall and SO ARE WE. Despite Tucson's blazing weather, we have been non-stop thrifting fall goodies. Today we took a trip to the mall and I splurged on a couple of Bath and Bodywork candles, which are my ultimate fave. I also couldn't resist this Boston Terrier sweater from Old Navy, or these adorable and simple white kicks from Target.
Sweater and Pendelton flannel are thrifted :)

I'll be spending a lot more time blogging over here -- so Sentimental Heart will not see any new posts until further notice. Thank you to everyone for the love over the last couple of years! I am excited to see how The Nott will grow with time.

The Nottingham Home

Last month we stumbled upon our dream rental on Craigslist and knew we HAD to scoop it up before someone else did. Decorating is definitely a work in progress, but we are taking our time. We are using several pieces of furniture we already own and will slowly replace with new pieces as time and money allows. Here's a little sneak peak at our living room, since it is the most "put together" room at this time!
There's a healthy mix of new and thrifted items in our space, which I love!
Shout out to my Grammy who gifted us our first house plant :)

We absolutely love the lighting and just about everything about our little place. We will remember our time here for the rest of our lives!

Couple Style

One thing is for sure: Kyle and I have no shame in our outfit game. Below are some of our recent "fits". PS: We have the same days off now...BEST THING EVER.

Also, please note how out of control Kyle's hand gestures are :)

What We've Been Up To

We've really let the last few months slip away from us! Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years breezed by. I think time slips away with both of us working 40 hours a week (40+ for K).

I wish we had hundreds of fancy pictures of us doing amazingly fun things. Sadly, we've been sticking close to home and spending our free time relaxing. Kyle had his wisdom teeth out a couple of weeks ago, so we're just now bouncing back from that! We have celebrated the new year, our niece's first birthday, my sister's 26th birthday, the removal of Kyle's wisdom, and a Raven's victory. Kyle bought a new bike. The bridesmaid's dresses will be in this week. We saw a hockey game. We've watched Pitch Perfect about 6 times. And that's about all that's been going on over here. My schedule at work will be changing soon, so hopefully that means more time to snap pictures and spend time together, enjoying our engagement before it's over (110 days to go...)!

We hope your holiday was merry & bright, and we hope the beginning of this new year has been successful :)
