Last night, Kyle and I reunited with one of our favorite foods. It had been way too long since our last sushi date.  One of our favorite spots in Tucson is Ichiban on the East side. They have a really relaxed ambiance with really friendly staff. I think the waiter bowed to us three or four times haha. We ordered edamame to start, with some hot green tea. Appetizers were a house salad for me while Kyle sipped miso. SO. GOOD.
Dinner for me was: a Cali roll and a spicy tuna roll. Kyle had a California roll and a Las Vegas roll. It was all really fresh and delicious!

The low-key atmosphere made for a really enjoyable dinner and we got to chat without loud music or a million people around us.

On a scale from 1 to 5 (one being awful, 5 being wonderful) we give Ichiban a 4.5. We didn't have one complaint. Our sushi dinner even inspired us to roll some of our own maybe later this week!

So excited for a day off tomorrow, we'll be back then with snapshots from the day.
