Noodle Soup

Hello! Thought I'd post a quick restaurant review while I'm in between classes.

Yesterday was chilly and rainy (mixed with hail/snow!!) so Kyle suggested we grab some Pho after I got out of class. We met up with some old friends and warmed our bones with the delicious Vietnamese noodle soup at Miss Saigon. Miss Saigon is located about 2 minutes from the U of A campus and it's typically packed with students. Last night was no different!
Kyle and I ordered Pho with chicken.
Though many Vietnamese restaurants have various takes on Pho, Miss Saigon has a consistently yummy recipe. It's not too salty, and they have a good ratio of chicken to broth (if you want to get all scientific about it). We'd rate Miss Saigon a 4 out of 5. It's a nice, casual place to have lunch or dinner and the collegiate atmosphere is a lot of fun.

Have you ever had mind-blowingly good Pho?

  1. YUM! I am back in Philly now, but I am a U of A alum....miss ALL of the great restaurants in Tucson...including this one!!! Hope to visit again at some point this year, two years away from AZ has been too long. Love seeing my old stomping ground all over yours and Gina's blogs!! :) Super cute blog, by the way.

  2. Oh I love Pho! My favorite thing is starting with just a small amount of sriracha and adding more and more so that by the end it's like you're tasting two different soups! My favorite place is called Pho Green Papaya - you can get an amazing bento-style combo and every meal comes with a tiny pho bowl or you can get a massive trough! :)
